  • Once purchased, do I need to program the MG5 unit? If yes, how?

    Both versions of MG5 have firmware programming ports and use J-link for programming. The exact location can be provided with the schematic diagram. For custom firmware development, contact our engineers for guidance and tutorials.
  • Does S4 Bluetooth 5.0 Door Sensor only broadast when door status is changed?

    SÌ, it can be customized. The current firmware flashes a blue light only when the door is opened or closed. In the upgraded S4 V3 version, there are two broadcasting modes: Regular Mode: Broadcasts at fixed intervals. Power-saving Mode: Broadcasts only when the door magnet or tamper switch is triggered, but the information frame always broadcasts regardless of the mode.
  • If there is a broadcast, there is RSSI, how do MST01 and MST03 do the positioning?

    For BLE products, the RSSI value is measured at the receiving end (e.g., porta, cell phone). If there are BLE broadcasts, there is an RSSI value. In iBeacon frames, the RSSI at 1M or 0M is a "reference value" indicating the expected RSSI at 1M or 0M for easier device location. The MST01 and MST03 use RSSI for positioning just like our other BLE beacon/tag products.
  • How long does it take for the MG5's backup battery to be fully recharged?
